Hey, Are you slowly mashing your type to bits by printing without enough packing material, like I did today? If you have ugly impressions all the way through your paper onto the backside, then yes! yes! I love the impression made into the surface of the paper that letterpress leaves behind. But I have noticed some printers have a very shallow impression.
Could this be why?
indeed. some printers love it, some try to avoid it, totally personal preference, although by-the-book printers will tell you to avoid it.
